If you or your friends are unable to find them, please make sure you’re searching in the correct category and location, as searching in a different category or using filters may prevent the ads from appearing.

I paid $11.24 to post and ad for tickets. It went through on my credit card but my ad is still not posted. Why?
Unfortunately Jo, the reason the ad was placed on hold due to as of late April 2026, Ontario law restricts the resale of tickets for concerts, sports events, and other live events.
Kijiji supports compliance with Ontario’s ticket resale regulations, including the Ticket Sales Act framework (commonly referred to as “Bill 94 – Putting Fans First Act”).

Thanks for the reply. I did not see this information prior to posting and was selling them for less than face value.
I tried to add a snapshot of my receipt but it will not update the ad. Are you able to update it for me?

Unfortunately the reason you were unable to upload the screenshot of the face value receipt is due to you User Deleted the ad while the ad was on hold. I have reinstated the ad and placed it on hold for you again, so please proceed to the edit ad section and properly edit the ad’s information by uploading the screenshot of the face value receipt of the tickets and that will reactivate the ad.
So please be careful when editing the ad, to not delete the posting during the process.
I keep getting emails in the last hour with apologies that my ad was deleted and that my ad is active. It’s not!!! And I can’t update.
Is this a scam? $11.24 is not a lot but I am requesting my ad be made active immediately.

As Rob mentioned previously, your ad is currently on hold in your Inactive Ads section. It is awaiting one required update before it can be approved.
Please upload an image showing the face value of the ticket to your listing. Once you’ve added the image, your ad will be reviewed by our moderation team, and if it meets our posting requirements, it will be approved and made live.
So now I’ve had no reply and my ad has even been removed from the ‘inactive ads’. But my $11.24 was certainly taken by Kijiji and not refunded. Scammed!!!
posted two adds paid teice and I got an email saying that it is active but its not it says pending and I still got charged and emailed the confirmation
Hello there Kimmy, I have some good news. I have managed to locate your ad and it will be up and running within 1-2 hours from the time the ad was posted. What happens, many ads go through Kijiji’s automated security filters and once cleared and deemed acceptable, it is automatically activated. So all is good with your account.
This happened on my account also. I received an email that there was an error, I fixed it, and it’s been stuck for a week. Please help!

I reviewed your ad and found that it does not comply with our pet posting policy. Listings for pets cannot be offered for free or for a very low price.
I recommend editing the price to “Please Contact” and resubmitting the ad. Once updated, it will be reviewed again by our moderation team.

Many of my ads disappeared, what was left were in the inactive folder. No notification was sent about the inactive ads. The disappeared ads would have been active.
Unfortunately Cam, Kijiji only keeps records and archives of previously deleted or expired ads for a maximum of 60 days from the date the ads were removed from active postings. I am sorry to say any ad postings that ran and were deleted or time expired more than 60 days ago, have completely been purged from our database.
I am having an issue with listings disappearing/not publishing. I receive the “Your listing is now live” confirmation email, but the listing does not appear under My Listings or in Kijiji search. This happened yesterday so I added the new listings a 2nd time yesterday and I received the email saying my listing is live and again I it stated that I have 0 ads. So I just tried it again with a third attempt at the listing this afternoon and received the same message that it was live and once again it does not show up and in fact when I saved the listing link: Buy or Sell Used Water Sport Equipment in Vancouver | Free Local Classifieds - Kijiji it immediately alters it in the address bar to this URL Buy or Sell Used Water Sport Equipment in Vancouver | Free Local Classifieds - Kijiji. I am verified and everything what am I doing wrong or is there another issue with Kijiji and ad listings?

I’ve taken a look, and it seems your ad was deleted from Kijiji by accident. I’ve since reactivated it and I’ve taken the liberty to bump your ad back up to the top of the first page. It’s now live on our website!

My ad is not showing up on any search and is showing 0 listings under my profile . Been 48 hours now
Thank you for your patience Darrell, I have been discussing with the Development Team as more and more users are encountering the same issue. Sometimes their ad in Real Estate and Pets appears in searches and other times, just ads that were posted more than 2 days ago are appearing in searching and pretty no recent ads auto populate. The Dev Team has confirmed that they are having an outage in the search filters and are working to have this issue resolved. We will update the community, once the search results issue has been resolved in our Kijiji Community Connect Forum.
I am in my account, clicking MY ADS and nothing shows up at all, white space with the bottom kijiji info section. If I click on MY PROFILE the ads show up there but not like they used to, they are in small box layout
