The most common cause for these issues is a misunderstanding of how our ad Moderation process works.
After you post/edit an ad, the last message you receive in the process is :
You have successfully posted your ad!
It may take a few hours for your ad to be displayed across the site as it undergoes a routine quality control review.
The message is to let you know that your ad may be held for Moderation.
When an ad is posted/edited it is delayed in order to allow our moderators to review it for quality purposes and to prevent bad actors from posting. Normally this only takes a few hours but can take up to 12 hours.
While the ad is on hold it does not show up in your active list and you cannot repost it. As soon as the ad is reviewed it is released and then becomes active.
When your ad disappears please check first under your inactive ads. If the ad is not in there please try logging out and then logging back into refresh your connection to Kijiji.
If the ad is still not in your inactive or active ads please contact us and we can check on the ad status for you
Many times users delete the ads while they are inactive. I ask you not to do this as user deleted ads are not eligible for refunds and often times we can fix any issues for you
