When you reduce the price of your item and purchase the Price Drop feature, a prominent red badge is added to your listing. The badge highlights your new price alongside your previous price, making it easy for buyers to see the savings.
What is the Price Drop feature?
Price Drop is a paid visibility upgrade that helps attract attention to listings with recently reduced prices.
Once activated, a red Price Drop badge appears:

The badge displays:

Your original price with a strikethrough
This helps buyers quickly identify listings that have recently been discounted.
How long does the Price Drop badge remain on my ad?
The Price Drop badge remains visible for 7 days from the date of purchase.
How to add Price Drop on Kijiji Web
You can purchase the Price Drop feature from several locations within your account.
Option 1: From My Ads

Sign in to your Kijiji account.

Open My Ads.

Navigate to the Active Ads tab.

Locate the listing you want to update.

Select Edit beside the current price.

Reduce the price.

Follow the prompts to purchase the Price Drop feature.
Option 2: While editing your listing

Open the listing you want to update.

Select Edit Your Ad.

Enter a lower price than the current listed price.

The Price Drop option will become available for purchase.
Option 3: Through Get More Views
If you have already lowered the price of your listing:

Open My Ads.

Locate your listing.

Expand the Get More Views menu.

Select the Price Drop feature.

Complete the purchase.

Important Information
Which categories support Price Drop?
Price Drop is available in most Kijiji categories.
The feature is not available in Cars & Vehicles, where the Reduced Banner feature is used instead.
What happens if I increase my price again?
If you increase your price above the original amount used when activating Price Drop, the Price Drop badge will automatically be removed from your listing.
Are Price Drop purchases refundable?
No. Promotional features are non-refundable, including situations where the Price Drop badge is removed because the listing price was increased.
