Why Can’t I Find My Listing on Kijiji?

If you’ve recently posted a listing but can’t find it on Kijiji, don’t panic. In most cases, your ad is still being processed, requires additional action, or is simply difficult to locate using your current search criteria.

1. Check Whether Your Listing Is Active

The easiest way to verify the status of your listing is from your account.

On Kijiji.ca (web)

  1. Sign in to your Kijiji account.

  2. Open the Navigation Menu (profile photo, person icon, or K icon).

  3. Select My Ads.

On the Kijiji App

  1. Open the app.

  2. Tap Listings.

Review your listing status to determine whether it is Active, Pending, Inactive, or On Hold.

2. Your Listing May Still Be Processing

Newly posted or recently edited listings may take some time to appear in search results.

If you’ve recently:

  • Posted a new listing

  • Edited an existing listing

Allow some time for the changes to be processed.

Any paid features or promotions will become active once the listing is live.

3. Your Listing May Be Pending Activation

  2. Select the Inactive tab.

  3. Look for any messages requesting payment or activation.

If prompted, select Activate Ad and complete any required steps.

4. Your Listing May Be On Hold

In some cases, a listing may be temporarily placed on hold for review.

If this happens, Kijiji will generally send an email explaining the reason and any next steps required.

  • The email address associated with your Kijiji account

5. Adjust Your Search Criteria

If your listing is active but you still can’t find it, your search settings may be preventing it from appearing.
