Mark an Item as Sold on Kijiji (App Only)
The Mark as Sold feature allows sellers to update a listing once a transaction has been completed. When an item is marked as sold, it is removed from search results and shown as no longer available, helping keep Kijiji listings accurate and up to date.
This feature is available only in the Kijiji app for eligible categories, including:
- Buy & Sell
- Cars & Vehicles (excluding Auto Services)
- Real Estate – For Sale
- Pets (excluding Animal & Pet services)
What This Feature Does
Marking an item as sold will:
- Remove the listing from active search results
- Indicate that the item is no longer available
- Help improve listing accuracy across the marketplace
How to Mark an Item as Sold (Kijiji App)
- Open the Kijiji app and tap Listings at the bottom of the screen
- Select the active listing you want to update
- Tap Mark as Sold
- Confirm your selection if prompted
Once completed, the listing will no longer appear as active on Kijiji.
Important Notes
- This feature is available only in the Kijiji app
- It is only available for eligible categories listed above
- Once marked as sold, the listing is removed from public view in search results
- This action helps keep marketplace listings current and accurate
