i have a similar issue as the OP. Ad shows as active in dashboard and email confirmation received, but not visible publicly â ID 1741160711. Furthermore, i did not receive any notification as to what the problem might be. Please advise where i can find resolution to this issue. thank you.
I am sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues searching for your âWantedâ Posting Rolan, I will do my best to review the status of the posting.
Now I have ran a general search in the Wanted category and I can assure you, your posting appears right in the top of the search page within the Owen Sound/Kincardine location. So I would like to ask you Rolan, prior to searching for your ad, did you make sure to change the Offer Type filter from âI am offeringâ to âWantedâ? As this is required to be able to search for âwantedâ ads in the Kijiji platform.

Thank you for getting backing to me, I can certainly guide you on how to switch the Offer Type Filter from âI am offeringâ to âWantedâ so you can search for your ad in the âWantedâ section.
First and foremost, all you need to do is search for your ad in like you normally would with the keyword search feature. Once the search results page appears, please click âAll Filtersâ, and proceed to the âOffering Typeâ filter, please select the Wanted section instead of the default âI am offeringâ filter and this will provide you search results for all âwantedâ ads in your location.

thank you for your guidance⌠i can now see my ad. For what itâs worth, as feedback, i have been using kijiji for over a decade and i find this particular âfeatureâ very counter-intuitive. In my view, by default, the search should list ALL ads matching the search criteria and THEN the âall filtersâ should be used to refine the full search list to a short list. Itâs my belief, without any proof, that the âwantedâ ads cannot be very effective if a user has to figure out that his/her searches are not complete, i.e. they do not return ALL post where the keywords appear. For example, i searched for âkrono swissâ and i was given an empty list. It was after i clicked âall filtersâ and specified âwantedâ, my listing appeared. This is very cumbersome. The search should return all post where a keyword appears irrespective of their classification⌠thanks again for sorting this issue out
