I paid for the ad, but my ad still doesn’t show up.
What happens to the payment that I made?
I have reviewed the account Asad and I am not seeing any recent paid transactions on the account. When you submitted the payment, were you provided a payment reference number?
Since I wasn’t able to use this ID to post my ad, I used my other email ID to post the ad and paid from this other email ID.
Hi,
I ultimately tried to upload the ad using a different email ID. But still it disappeared after paying.
The reference number of my payment is: CA20036896870
Any feedback? What happens to the payment that I already paid for the Ad. My ad is still not up.
Unfortunately the ads are being deleted by our Duplicate Filters due to a Multiple User account violation, you currently have many accounts posting real estate ads to bypass our Real Estate Posting Limit. So therefore, to be able to post with us, you will have to delete all your secondary accounts, so you are left with one main account to be registered as a Real Estate Professional.
I’ve deleted the other accounts that I had. This ID from which I’m texting now is the only one that I’m using. How will I get the credit for the payment that I’ve made through CA20036896870
I am still seeing that account shadabanjum75@gmail.com is still active, so until you delete this last account, you will not be able to post.
That account has been deleted. Can I post my ad now. Also, please guide me how do I utilize the credit for the payment made.
Thank you for getting back to me, you will now be able to post under the account syed.shahbaz.anjum@gmail.com. However the account has been upgraded to a Professional Account, so you will have to pay for each real estate rental listings.
In regards to the previously deleted ad for circumventing our listing fees by creating multiple user accounts. You will not receive any credit, since you purposely violated and cheated the system by creating multiple accounts so to bypass the real estate listing fee as a Professional. So therefore you actually owe us more than the amount of the deleted ad. So therefore there will be no credit or refund.
However as mentioned, you will be allowed to post under the account syed.shahbaz.anjum@gmail.com, but it will come with the cost of a real estate listing fee to post each ad.
Let me clarify. I’m not a realtor. I keeping posting ad for friend and relatives to help them out.
Hence you calling me out as cheating the system is not acceptable and requires an apology. In fact, you guys have cheated a customer by refusing to refund the money that has been paid to you without services being delivered.
As suggested by you, a new ad has been posted and another payment of $33.84 has been made against reference no.; CA20036901515, but still my ad is not active. Who’s cheating - you (Kijiji) or me?
I demand that the earlier payment of $20.28 against reference number CA20036896870 be REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY to the credit card that was used to process this payment.
Unfortunately Syed, you seem to not understand the definitions of Real Estate professional. You yourself admitted that you were posting real estate ads for friends and family members, that is the sole definition of a “Broker” and since all the ads were Real Estate Industry related ads, then that classifies you as a Real Estate Broker.
Now as a Real Estate Broker that would identify within Kijiji as a Real Estate Professional, so unfortunately there will not be any apologies from Kijiji and the account will remain as a Professional Account and you will be required to pay a Real Estate Listing Fee for each posting moving forward.
I understand my account being categorized as a real estate account.
But what happens to the payment of $20.28 against reference number CA20036896870 for which no services have been received from Kijiji? Either you apply this money to promote my ad or refund the same.
Posted an ad 2 times already, and it gets deleted. Dont understand what seems to be the problem
I am very sorry for the confusion the removal of the ad may have caused you. Unfortunately we encountered some technical difficulties with the email domain the ad was posted on, causing the ad to be removed. Our System Support team worked hard to get this issue resolved and I am pleased to inform you they came up with a solution and your ad is now active on our platform.
My Ad has disappeared and it does not show up in my active listings anymore
Hi @Bort91
I reviewed your account and can confirm that your ad is live and active.
Please note that newly posted or edited ads may sometimes be placed into review. During that time, the ad will appear in your Inactive section until the review is complete. Once approved, it will automatically move back to your Active listings.
From what I can see on my end, your ad is currently live and visible on Kijiji.
How can I find my listings? I simply changed my password and it was accepted. Thank you!
Unfortunately Francine, Kijiji only keeps records and archives of previously deleted or expired ads for a maximum of 60 days from the date the ads were removed from active postings. I am sorry to say any ad postings that ran and were deleted or time expired more than 60 days ago, have completely been purged from our database.
Your ad was removed because it does not contain enough pertinent information. When posting an ad in the jobs section we ask that employers provide enough information so that potential employees can get a good sense of what the position will entail. Here are some examples of relevant information that should be included:
- What is the compensation rate/structure? Is this a commission position, salaried, or hourly?
- What company is this posting for?
- Where is this job located?
- What would be the daily duties of a successful applicant?
- What qualities or qualifications does your company require?
We also typically ask that job ads have information about the company that is looking to hire (name, address, phone number, contact person etc.) especially if they are asking for resumes to be forwarded.
I understand that some companies do not always like their personal information posted online but we do this as a safety precaution for our user community as scammers will often post general job ads looking for resumes so they can store and use their contact info.
At this time, we welcome you to repost your ad, but please be sure to include all of the above information.
