It was Christmas, and we were very tight on money. I was checking Kijiji, looking for good deals on toys and found an LOL doll house that a family was giving away. Just what my kids were obsessed with at the time.
When we went to pick it up, they also gave us a dozen LOL dolls in amazing condition, books, and so many toys that we donated at least half of it.
On Christmas day, we were a bit anxious about how the kids were going to react.
They were beyond thrilled with their presents.
Then my youngest one said to her sister: “Now I know Santa is real, mom and dad would have never bought all of these”
