Not Receiving Kijiji Messages?
When another user contacts you on Kijiji, a copy of the message is typically delivered in two places:

Your Kijiji Messages inbox

The email address associated with your Kijiji account
If you’re not seeing messages where you expect them, the steps below can help identify the cause.
I’m Not Seeing Messages in My Kijiji Inbox
If you received a message by email but cannot find it in Messages, the most common reason is that you’re signed into a different Kijiji account.
To verify:

Open Account Settings.

Check the email address listed on your account.

Compare it with the email address that received the message notification.
If they don’t match, sign out and sign back in using the correct email address.
Messages are linked to the Kijiji account associated with the email address that received them.
I’m Not Receiving Messages by Email
If messages appear in your Kijiji inbox but not in your email, there are a few things to check.
Step 1: Confirm Your Account Email Address

Sign in to Kijiji.

Open Account Settings.

Review the email address listed in your account information.
This is the email address where message notifications will be sent.
If the Email Address Is Incorrect
You’ll need to access the inbox associated with the email currently linked to your account.
If you’d like to use a different email address, update your account information by following the instructions in How to Change Your Email Address.
If the Email Address Is Correct
Your email provider may be filtering Kijiji messages.
Check your:

Spam folder

Junk folder

Promotions folder (if applicable)

I’m Not Receiving Messages Anywhere
If you don’t see messages in your Kijiji inbox or your email, it’s possible that nobody has replied yet.
To confirm that your messaging is working properly, you can ask a friend or family member to send a test message to one of your active listings.
If the test message arrives, your account is functioning normally.
