How to Create and Manage Search Alerts on Kijiji
Search alerts help you stay up to date on new listings that match what you’re looking for. They are a free feature that notifies you by email or push notification when new ads match your search criteria.
For example, you can receive daily alerts for new cars in your area within your price range.
What is a Search Alert?
A search alert automatically notifies you when new ads are posted that match your saved search criteria, such as:

Keywords
-
Category
-
Location
-
Price range and filters
You can receive alerts by email or push notification (in the app).
How to Create a Search Alert on Kijiji.ca (web)

Enter your search terms in the search bar.

Select a category, location, and relevant keywords for the most accurate results.

Click Search.

Apply search filters such as price range, “Offering vs. Wanted,” or other category-specific options.

Once your search results are ready, click Notify me when new ads are posted.

If you are signed in, your alert will be saved automatically.

If you are not signed in, you will be prompted to enter your email address to receive alerts.
You will then receive new matching listings once per day.

Enter keywords in the search bar and start your search.

Apply filters such as category, location, and price range.

Tap the ribbon (alert) icon at the top of the results page.

Choose how often you want notifications:

How to Manage or Unsubscribe from Search Alerts
To unsubscribe from email alerts:

Open any alert email

Click the Unsubscribe link at the bottom
To delete a saved search (Web):

Click the heart icon in the top-right corner of Kijiji.

Select Saved Searches.

Find the search you want to remove.

Click Delete.
