Help Needed – Wrong Category for My Advertisement

Hello Kijiji,

I posted my moving labour service advertisement under Jobs → General Labour for Edmonton, but I believe this is the wrong category because I am offering a moving service, not advertising a job.

Could someone please advise me on the correct category and help move the advertisement to the appropriate category?

Since I already paid $129.90 for Visibility, I would also like to know if the Visibility purchase can be transferred to the correct category or refunded if I need to repost the ad.

I’m sorry to hear you posting your Moving Services ad in the incorrect category. Unfortunately we are unable to move the ad from the Jobs category to the Moving Services category due to the Visibility Package that you purchased is directly tied to the category the ad was posted under.

Now what I can do, I can delete the ad, provide you with a prorated refund of $60.78, so you can repost the ad under the correct category. Please let me know if you would like for me to go ahead?

Thank you for explaining the situation. I understand that the ad cannot be moved to the correct category because of the Visibility Package.

Since the ad was posted under the incorrect category and I’m unable to use the Visibility Package as intended, would it be possible to provide a full refund of the amount I paid, rather than the prorated refund of $60.78?

I would really appreciate it if you could make an exception in this case and issue a full refund so I can repost the ad correctly under the Moving Services category.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide you with a full refund, since we can only credit you the amount of time the ad was live prior of you contacting us. So we can only provide you with a prorated refund.

Thank you for getting back to me and confirming to go ahead with the ad deletion and prorated refund. So therefore the ad has been removed and the amount of $60.78 has been refunded back to the original form of payment. Please allow up to 3 business days for the refund to fully reflect.
