Get answers to your questions on Kijiji
The Kijiji community forums now feature Discourse AI, a powerful built-in tool that allows you to chat directly with Kijiji’s AI to find answers without having to create a public topic.
The AI analyzes all public posts in this specific forum, enabling it to summarize long discussions, find precise troubleshooting steps, or instantly explain site rules.
Here is a step-by-step guide to opening a conversation and chatting with the forum’s AI assistant.
Step 1: Open the AI chat interface
Step 2: Start a conversation
Once the chat panel is open or after accessing the AI section:
Step 3: Enter your question and send it
Type your question naturally, as you would with a person. For best results, mention specific keywords related to the forum’s topic.
Example: “What are your tips for buying and selling in all securite?”
Example: “I can't find my post?”
Press Enter or click the send arrow. The AI will analyze the forum database and respond in real-time directly in the chat window.
How to ask a question in the Kijiji community:

Step 2: Click the “New Topic” button
Look toward the upper-right corner of the forum interface, just below the main navigation bar. You will see a button labeled + New Topic.

Once you click the button, a drafting window will appear at the bottom of your screen.
