These measures help reduce spam, fraud, duplicate listings, and excessive reposting, while ensuring legitimate ads remain visible for longer. They also contribute to a better experience for buyers, sellers, renters, and employers across the platform.
Categories Subject to Listing Limits
The following categories have listing limits for personal accounts. When a user exceeds the allowed limit within a category, their account may be assigned a high-volume seller status and become subject to posting fees in that category.

Note: Users may also choose to identify themselves as a business seller. Business sellers are required to pay applicable posting fees across all categories listed above.
What Happens When Listing Limits Are Exceeded?
When a personal account exceeds the free listing limit in an eligible category, the account may be assigned one of the following statuses:
- Professional Landlord
- Car Dealer
- Recreational Vehicle Dealer
Once assigned, posting fees will apply to future listings within the affected category.

Fees are charged for each 31-day listing period.

Free listings may still be available in categories where your account type is eligible.
Eligibility is determined based on the listing limits outlined above.
Example: A professional employer account must pay posting fees in the Jobs category but may still be eligible for free listings in Cars & Vehicles or Real Estate, depending on applicable category limits.
