Personal and Business Accounts on Kijiji
Kijiji offers both Personal and Business accounts to help users manage listings depending on how they buy and sell.
Business accounts are intended for users who post listings for commercial purposes, while Personal accounts are for individual, non-commercial use.
What is a Business Account?
A Business account is designed for users who post listings as part of a business activity, such as real estate, job postings, dealerships, or service providers.
Business accounts help ensure listings are properly categorized and provide access to features designed for commercial sellers across Kijiji categories.
There is no additional cost to create a Business account. However, standard listing fees may apply depending on the category.
Do I need to pay extra for a Business account?
No. Creating a Business account does not have an additional fee.
However, some categories require listing fees for business postings. These fees are category-dependent and are not tied to the account type itself.
Why can’t I post for free in some categories anymore?
Business accounts apply consistently across all eligible categories.
If a category has business listing fees, those fees will apply regardless of previous posting rules for personal users.
Free posting limits may still exist in eligible categories and remain unchanged where applicable.
How do I post personal listings?
If you want to post personal (non-business) listings, you will need a separate Personal account.
Each account type requires a unique email address.
