Cannot post any ads

Created a new user and attempted to post an ad. Tried from edge and Chrome, both are updated and tried from multiple computers. Constantly get unable to create ad. Hoping for resolution. Thanks in advance.

Hello @Johnny4

Thank you for reaching out about not being able to use your account.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you’ve experienced .

We understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t work as expected, and we appreciate your patience.

I’ve carefully reviewed your account and found the root cause of the problem: a configuration issue that was blocking your access. I’m happy to tell you that I’ve fixed this issue for you.

1. First make sure that your Kijiji Application and/or your Webbrowser are updated to the most current version.
Many issues are caused by out of date software.
2. Unfortunately, VPN connections can make it significantly more difficult for our systems to verify account activity and maintain the safety of the platform.
As a result, some VPN connections may be restricted or may interfere with account access and functionality.
Please disable this or use a device that does not have them installed if you continue to have issues.

3. Log out of your Kijiji account
4. Log back in

NOTE: If you are not able to log into Kijiji - power cycle your device - power off - power on Login.
This will refresh your connection to Kijiji and give you the best chance for no problems when you log in.

There are some issues which may not show up until you attempt to post or edit your first ad.
If you run into any more problems or have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to contact us.

We’re here to help and want to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your Kijiji experience.

Please take a few moments to review our policies before your respond to or post and ad as they do change regularly to meet new conditions.

Thank you so much for your patience and for bringing this to our attention. We truly value you as a customer and appreciate your understanding.

If you have any more questions or concerns in the future, please don’t hesitate to contact us – we’re just a message away.

Hello

I have the same problem. I subscribed yesterday to post ads on Kijiji and completed the payment, but my posts still aren’t going through.

Please help me resolve this issue.

Hello @Rimy_Meziani

Welcome to Community Connect.

Thank you for reaching out about your ad (s):

  • Auxiliaire de vie à domicile (#1745329034) in Gatineau > Services > Other

When I reviewed your account I see that you are deleting your ads directly after posting. You most recent one is active.

I have confirmed that your ad(s) is/are active and you can see it/them here:

The most common cause for these issues is a misunderstanding of how our ad Moderation process works.

After you post/edit an ad, the last message you receive in the process is :
You have successfully posted your ad!
It may take a few hours for your ad to be displayed across the site as it undergoes a routine quality control review.
The message is to let you know that your ad may be held for Moderation.

When an ad is posted/edited it is delayed in order to allow our moderators to review it for quality purposes and to prevent bad actors from posting. Normally this only takes a few hours but can take up to 12 hours.

While the ad is on hold it does not show up in your active list and you cannot repost it. As soon as the ad is reviewed it is released and then becomes active.

When your ad disappears please check first under your inactive ads. If the ad is not in there please try logging out and then logging back into refresh your connection to Kijiji.

If the ad is still not in your inactive or active ads please contact us and we can check on the ad status for you

Many times users delete the ads while they are inactive. I ask you not to do this as user deleted ads are not eligible for refunds and often times we can fix any issues for you
