After initial search result, clicking on an ad causes photos to become SMALLER. Shouldn’t photos appear BIGGER after you express interest in a particular ad?
Hi @Vector
The photos in an ad should normally open in a larger view when you click or tap on them. If they’re appearing smaller instead, here are a few things to try:
1. Check your browser zoom level (Desktop)
If your browser has accidentally been zoomed out, photos and other page elements may appear smaller than normal.
- Windows: Press Ctrl + 0 to reset the zoom to 100%.
- Mac: Press Cmd + 0 to reset the zoom to 100%.
- You can also hold Ctrl/Cmd and scroll up with your mouse to zoom in.
2. If you’re using a phone or tablet
Try rotating your device to landscape mode, as photos often display larger in that orientation. Also, check that your browser isn’t using Desktop Site, as this can make images appear much smaller on mobile devices.
3. Some sellers upload low-resolution photos
If the seller uploaded small or low-quality images, they may still appear small even when opened. In that case, you can try opening the image in a new browser tab to view it at its maximum available resolution.
4. Click or tap on the main photo
In most Kijiji listings, selecting the main photo opens the image gallery where the photo is displayed in a larger, full-screen view.
