Kijiji offers both Personal and Business accounts to help users manage listings based on how they buy and sell.
- Personal accounts are intended for individual, non-commercial use
- Business accounts are intended for commercial activity, such as selling goods or services as part of a business

What is a Business account?
A Business account is designed for users who post listings as part of a commercial activity, including:
- Real estate professionals
- Job postings and recruiters
- Car dealerships
- Service providers and businesses
Business accounts provide access to tools designed to support higher-volume or commercial sellers across Kijiji categories.
Is there an additional cost for a Business account?
No. Creating a Business account is free.
However, standard listing fees may still apply depending on the category, and these fees are not determined by account type.
Why are there fees in some categories?
Some categories include business-related listing fees based on the type of listing being posted.
These fees:
- Apply consistently to Business accounts
- Depend on category rules
- Are not new charges related to account creation
Free posting limits may still apply in eligible categories where available.
How do I post personal listings?
To post non-commercial (personal) listings, you must use a Personal account.
Please note:
- Personal and Business accounts must use separate email addresses
- Each account type is intended for a different use case
