How to Leave a Review on Kijiji
Leaving a review on Kijiji helps other users make informed decisions, supports fair transactions, and builds trust across the community. Reviews only take a few minutes and contribute to a safer marketplace.
When You Can Leave a Review
You can leave a review once a transaction is marked as complete by the seller. Both the buyer and seller will then receive a notification inviting them to leave a review.
- Reviews must be submitted within 14 days
- Both parties have 14 days to complete a review once notified
- Reviews are only available if all communication took place through Kijiji messages or email
- Reviews are not available if the transaction was completed via phone calls or SMS
How Reviews Are Published
- If both users submit a review, it is published immediately
- If only one user submits a review, it is published after 14 days
- Reviews include your rating, selected feedback tags, username, and listing category
How to Leave a Review (Desktop)
- Sign in to your Kijiji account
- Go to My Ads (top right under your profile icon)
- Select the listing and confirm the sale by selecting My Kijiji Ad Worked
- Open the related conversation
- Select the option to leave a review
- Choose a rating (1–5 stars) and select applicable feedback reasons
- Click Submit Review
How to View Reviews from Other Users
You can view reviews in several ways:
- Click the user’s profile within your conversation
- Select View Profile or Reviews if available
- Open the Reviews tab to see recent feedback
How to View Your Own Reviews
Your reviews appear on your profile after the 14-day review window, or immediately if both parties submit a review.
To view your profile:
- Click the Navigation Menu (profile icon, person icon, or letter icon)
- Select Account Settings
- Click View My Profile
- Open the Reviews tab
Important Notes
- Reviews are currently available for non-business users only
- Reviews cannot be edited or removed once submitted
- Kijiji does not mediate review disputes
- All published reviews remain visible unless they violate Kijiji’s review policies
