How to Edit Your Kijiji Listing

You can update your listing at any time on Kijiji.ca or through the Kijiji app. This allows you to keep your ad accurate and up to date for potential buyers.

Edit a Listing on Kijiji.ca (Web)

  1. Sign in to your Kijiji account.
  2. Click the Navigation Menu (person icon, K icon, or your profile photo).
  3. Select My Ads from the menu.
  4. Find the listing you want to update and click Edit.
  5. Make your changes and click Save Changes.

  1. Open the app and tap Listings at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Select the listing you want to edit.
  3. Tap the three dots (⋯) and choose Edit listing.
  4. Make your updates.
  5. Tap Update listing to save your changes.

What You Can and Can’t Edit After Posting

Some listing details cannot be changed after your ad is published:

City or Location (Featured or Paid Ads Only)

If your paid or featured listing was posted in the wrong city, it cannot be edited. You will need to delete the listing and repost it in the correct location.

Category

Once a listing has been posted, it cannot be moved to a different category. This is because categories use specific attributes and listing structures.
If you need to change the category, you will need to delete the listing and create a new one in the correct category.

Save Your Listing as a Draft

If you are not ready to publish your ad, you can save it as a draft:

  • Select Save Draft in the top right corner when creating your listing
  • Your draft will be stored in your Inactive Listings section
  • You can return at any time to finish and publish your ad
