I just avoided being caught by a fraudster. I posted an ad with my phone number, and within 5 minutes I received a text from 604-901-7992 offering to pay now and pick up the item tomorrow. I gave them my Interac email and I received an email that was supposedly from Interac but it was from a strange email address. When I clicked on the link in the email, it requested which bank and when I clicked on my bank it asked for my bank login info. Interac doesn’t work like this! When I texted back that I didn’t trust this, I received no reply (of course).
