# Vehicle purchase scam

I posted a motorcycle for sale and got 4 responses with USA area codes. They all demanded that I get a vehicle report at a certain site. I would have to pay with my credit card and thats all they wanted. They would run up my credit card fast.Be aware of any foreign area codes in your replies.

The vehicle report scam you described is a known scam that targets vehicle sellers. We recommend removing your phone number from your ad and communicating only through Kijiji Messages, where we have filters in place to help protect our community.
