I want to post **one free ad** for a property I own Can someone help me revert the account to **Private / Individual / Owner** status ---

Hello @Kijiji_User539 Thank you for reaching out to us about your inability to access free ads. I understand that your account was inadvertently set to “Professional Renter” status. This is a common occurrence, as it can happen with a single misclick. I’ve taken the liberty of reverting your account back to “Individual” status, which will apply to all your future advertisements. Please note that this change won’t affect any ads currently in the process of being posted. For future reference, during the ad creation process, you’ll notice two radio buttons that determine whether you’re registered as an Owner/Individual or a Dealer/Professional. The Owner option is typically selected by default. However, if the Dealer/Professional button is chosen, it becomes the new default, and your account is then considered a business for ads posted in that category. Once set as a dealer, changing back requires one of the following actions: 1. Open the Kijiji Application, navigate to Profile, then Account Management 2. Contact our Community Support team (which you have done) It’s important to be aware of a few key differences when posting as a Dealer/Professional: 1. Posting through Kijiji.ca does not qualify for free ads 2. Business accounts bypass Kijiji Messaging - all communications are handled via email. Please check your Inbox, Spam, and Deleted Items folders to ensure you don’t miss any messages 3. Ads posted as a business will retain that status and cannot be altered.
