# If You Cannot Post Kijiji Listings

I understand how frustrating it can be to run into an error. Please try the following troubleshooting steps

**Why You Can’t Post an Ad**  
When posting an ad, Kijiji validates each field to ensure listings meet platform standards. If something is missing or incorrect, the system will prevent submission and highlight the issue in red.

**Common reasons your ad won’t post:**

- A required field has not been completed
- Extra spaces or formatting errors in text fields
- No images have been uploaded (if required by category)
- Incorrect or invalid location selection
- Listing fees have not been completed (where applicable)
- Invalid characters in numeric fields (for example: $ signs, commas, or decimals in price or mileage fields)
- Content that violates Kijiji policies or includes restricted language
- Attempting to post from outside Canada, where access may be limited

**How to fix it:**

- Scroll through the posting form and look for fields highlighted in red
- Complete all required fields carefully
- Remove special characters from number-based fields
- Ensure at least one image is added if required
- Confirm your location is correctly selected from the dropdown
- Review your description for policy compliance
- Refresh the page or try a supported browser if the issue persists

I’d also recommend clearing your browser’s cookies and cache, then signing back in and trying again. If possible, try using a different browser or the Kijiji app as well.
