A user has on multiple occasions asked to meet to buy an item. The first time was quite a distance away. Second time I made the location closer.

I can ignore this user, but I have no avenue to report as I don’t think others should have to have their time wasted. However, I may be SOL here because I never actually sent money to this person, they never sent money to me, we have never met. So there’s no actual scam. But surely this breaks the TOS of Kijiji?

Unfortunately I wish there was something tangible that we could do to help you, but ultimately Kijiji is
simply a platform that connects buyers and sellers; we don’t get involved in any of
the transactions, communication or item disputes between our users.

What we can do is offer you guidance in your recourse with the following 2
suggestions. If the matter can’t be settled on your own, one option is to contact your
local police department to see if they can assist you. If they can, please ask them to
contact us (by submitting a ticket like you just did) and our team of experts will be
more than happy to help with the investigation. You may also choose to seek
professional legal counsel to help determine if you have any recourse against the other user.
