I have an existing paid business ad for Cascade Property Maintenance that has been prepaid for six months.
The ad is currently listed under Lawn Care / Landscaping, but I would like to change the category to the appropriate Handyman / Home Repair category, as this better represents the services I am currently advertising.
I do not want to delete the existing ad or create a new one because the current ad has already been paid for six months, and I do not want to lose the remaining prepaid period.
Could you please change the category of my existing paid ad while keeping the ad active and preserving the remaining prepaid term?

Unfortunately we are unable to change the ad’s category due to the Plus Visibility Package is attached to the category the ad was posted under. What I can do, I can delete the ad and provide you with a prorated refund of the amount of $269.94, so you can repost the ad under the desired category.
Hi Rob, one quick question before you proceed. I can see that this ad is currently 19 weeks old and has accumulated 1,998 views. I understand that this listing history will likely reset when I repost it.
Can you please confirm that only the individual ad history and views will reset, while my Kijiji account history/profile remains unchanged?

Yes absolutely Cascade, your profile history will remain intact. However, once the ad is deleted, all of the ad’s history will be removed and your new posting will start with new ad history. So just to confirm? Should I proceed with the ad deletion and prorated refund?
